True north

Set how far true north turns from the top of your drawing. The zone wheel turns with it, and you can send the angle straight to your plan.

What is this?

A tool to set the angle between the top of your drawing and true north, so every zone and entrance is read correctly.

How Vastu Shastra reads it

The published reports find direction with a map and drafting software. One sample report notes north tilted 15° toward the west; another measures 20° between the top of the plan and true north. A phone compass reads magnetic north and is easily disturbed by wiring, steel and appliances, so use it only as a rough check.

Questions

›How do I measure the angle?

Find your plot on a map, note the direction of true north, and measure clockwise from the top edge of your drawing to that line.

›Should I use a negative angle?

Use a negative angle when true north turns anticlockwise (toward the west) from the top of your drawing.

›Where is the angle saved?

In the plan open on this device. Saving the plan to your account keeps it with the drawing.
