Room100%

What is this?

The same drawing board as the planner, opened with the room tool ready, so you can lay out rooms first and see where each one falls among the zones.

How Vastu Shastra reads it

Drag out a room, give it a name, and it is read straight away by the zone its centre falls in. The 16 zones, the 32 entrance padas and the Brahmasthan at the centre are drawn around the plan as you go. Room readings come only from the published room and zone lists. A room with no listed rule for its zone is left unread.

Questions

›How is the builder different from the planner?

It is the same plan and the same tools. The builder simply starts with the room tool selected; switch between the two at any time.

›What is the Brahmasthan?

The central part of the plot. Rooms whose centre falls close to the middle are shown as sitting in it.

›Does the room name matter?

Yes. The reading depends on what the room is used for, so pick the use that matches, such as kitchen or bedroom.
